Matt Tindale, a native of Peterborough, Ontario, developed a passion for golf at the tender age of two. Guided by his father and grandfather, he learned how to grip the club and swing with force into neighboring backyards. Since then, he has traveled across North America, participating in numerous amateur and professional golf tournaments. By the age of 25, Matt recognized that his passion for golf had evolved, and he became more interested in helping golfers achieve their objectives as a dedicated golf coach. This realization led him to pursue a career with the PGA of Canada.
In 2010, Matt began teaching golf lessons in Victoria, British Columbia, where he was particularly drawn to the study of golf biomechanics. He later moved to the Credit Valley Golf & Country Club in Mississauga, where he refined his skills and took on a full-time role as a teaching professional at The Club at North Halton. Over his eight years at The Club at North Halton, he successfully grew his client base to over 500 students, managing all teaching programs, including junior golf lessons that ranged from camps to competitive teams. Seeking further growth opportunities, Matt transitioned to the management side of golf and took up his most recent position at Westmount Golf and Country Club. Rediscovering his passion for teaching, Matt co-founded DBL CRS Sim Lounge, allowing him to focus on helping people improve their golf games through personalized coaching.
Having learned from experienced professionals in the industry and being certified through the PGA of Canada, Smart 2 Move, and Bioswing, Matt has developed a keen interest in biomechanics. He formulates individualized plans for each student based on their body’s abilities, limitations, and goals, ensuring their success in golf through tailored golf lessons and coaching.
