Who this program is for
This program is for golfers who want regular coaching and clear direction for their winter practice. You may be looking for more consistent contact, a more reliable driver, better wedge control or a stronger plan for the golf course.
Your starting point and priorities will guide the coaching. Whether you are developing the basics or working toward lower scores, you will have specific skills to practise between lessons.
What is included
• 12 private coaching sessions of 60 minutes each, with two sessions per month from November through April.• Lesson flexibility when you are away. An unused lesson may carry into a later month, but all twelve indoor lessons must be completed by April 30, 2027.• An initial body and movement assessment using BioSwing screening, with a review of your setup and swing.• Smart2Move 3D Force Plate analysis, launch-monitor data and video feedback where they help address your priorities.• Personalized practice plans between coaching sessions.• Work on contact, club delivery, driver performance, wedges and short game.• Performance practice, course strategy and routines.• A comparison of your November and April performance assessments.• A playing lesson in early May and a spring development plan.
Your winter development plan
Every month has a focus, with the lesson content adjusted to your goals and progress. We will keep your practice priorities clear so you know what to work on before the next session.
The program includes two lessons allocated each month. If you are away, an unused lesson may carry forward into another month. All twelve indoor lessons must be used by April 30, 2027.
November 2026
Assessment and your individual plan
We will discuss your goals, assess your movement and establish a starting point for your swing and ball flight. We will identify your main priorities and begin building a setup and movement pattern that suit you.
December 2026
Contact and club delivery
We will work on strike location, where the club meets the ground, and how the clubface and swing path influence your shots. The focus is more predictable contact and ball flight.
January 2027
Ground forces and driver performance
We will explore how you use the ground and how your movements connect through the swing. Driver work will include setup, strike location, launch conditions and opportunities to develop speed.
February 2027
Wedges and short game
We will build useful wedge carry distances and practise choosing the shot and club for the situation. Your scoring work will include chipping and pitching skills suited to the indoor training environment.
March 2027
Skill development and performance practice
We will measure your shot patterns and introduce changing targets, different clubs and scoring challenges. You will practise making decisions and completing your routine before each shot.
April 2027
Course preparation and progress review
We will work on target selection, club selection and routines, then repeat key assessments from November. Together, we will review what has improved and choose your priorities for the outdoor season.
Early May 2027
Playing lesson and spring plan
We will take your winter work onto the course and look at the decisions that affect your scoring. Your playing lesson will help shape a practical development plan for the spring.
Coaching with Matt Tindale
My coaching starts with understanding how you move. I use body screening, swing video and performance data to help choose the changes that fit the golfer in front of me.
Throughout the winter, we will connect the work in your lessons to a clear practice plan. The May playing lesson gives us the opportunity to see how those skills carry over to your golf on the course.
